OFFICIAL REPORTS CONFIRM DETAILS

According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, police responded to a call at 19 Stratford Place early Monday morning. Upon arrival, officers found the child unresponsive. Emergency medical personnel transported her to University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 8:43 a.m.

Later that evening, Hall was arrested and charged. Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
